About

Born in Year of Monkey, Jung-Hui Weng rode mountainbike to Chaishan mountain, Kaohsiung and met with Formosan Rock-monkeys there. This is not about monkey meeting monkeys, but about middle-age crisis. When life and career are both entering mature stage, it is quite often that steering wheel is not held by ourselves. The wild monkeys in Chaishan are free and unrestrained. They follow no rule and they are tough. Old monkey man and wild Monkeys, the "dirty old monkey" was thus born.

Design Philosophy

Remote control with less than 1% of usage, huge and inadequate monstrous software..., these are all examples of “Stupid High Tech”. Simple is the best solution.

According to simple rule, our design is base on back to basic in any detail, we called it "Smart Low Tech".

Who we are

Freeparable Design Ltd. was founded in 2007 and all the members are bicycle fan. In 2009, the company relocated in Kaohsiung Software Park. It is the first one and the only company with all their company members commuting by bicycles. And there is no title like CEO.

Patents、Trademark and Award

All dom products have been applied for international patents and trademarks and actively participate in product design competition of related products. Monopoly or self-benefiting is not the key consideration, but to build up faith on own products and to be accountable.

The first product presented is dom T1 and it won approval of Eurobike Award 2009 and 2 international patents.
