FAQ: T1 Bike Trailer
HOW DO I MOUNT THE T1 BIKE TRAILER TO MY BIKE?
To install the T1 trailer to your bike, replace the original quick-release skewer with Dom’s quick-release skewer and place the hitch ring on it. Then, attach the T1 handle to the hitch ring and secure them with the included rubber ring to avoid slipping off while riding.
WILL THE TRAILER AND LUGGAGE SLIP OFF THE HITCH RING?
The package includes a rubber ring to secure the T1 trailer’s handle with the hitch ring on the quick-release skewer. Also, the weight of the luggage helps keep the trailer firmly on the hitch rings. Use the additional fastener to prevent luggage from slipping off the trailer frame.
IS THE HITCH RING TOUGH ENOUGH?
The hitch ring is made of stainless steel. The hitch ring may deform during high-speed turns. Since the hitch ring is durable, it will not break easily. When it bends out of shape, use pliers to hold it in place, or buy a spare for extra preparation.

WHAT SHOULD BE NOTED BEFORE USE?
Check for loose screws, lubricate the handle joints regularly and dry the luggage after it has been exposed to water.
HOW MUCH CAN IT CARRY? CAN IT BE USED AS A LUGGAGE?
The T1 trailer can carry a maximum load of 30 kg/66 lbs and a capacity of 60 liters. To use it as luggage, adjust the height of the tires so that they are closer to the luggage body for easier pulling.
CAN I PUT A FOLDING BIKE INSIDE THE T1?
Some 14-inch folding bikes can fit in the luggage. However, we recommend putting your bike in a bike bag and placing it on top of the T1 trailer for safety.
HOW TO AVOID OVERTURNING?
The height of the T1 wheel is adjustable. By adjusting the wheel height, the center of gravity of the bike and T1 can be balanced.

WILL THE CLEATS COME LOOSE?
There is little chance that the cleats might come loose. However, check them from time to time to make sure the screws on the cleats are tight.
CAN I USE THE CLEATS WITH MONKII OR GORILLA FAMILY SERIES?
Yes, you can. Dom’s products are designed with the same mounting system. Install the products you prefer according to your riding needs.
WHAT ARE THE FEATURES OF THESE CLEATS?
First, the process of installing the cleats takes less than a second. Securely attach two or three
cleats and screws to the bike mounting holes, then place Dom bike accessories on these cleats. Second, since the products are designed with the same mounting system, you can switch between them depending on your riding needs. Finally, all products can be quickly detached from the bike by sliding off the cleats without untying the straps.
